  • Harakat Hazm, the Nur al-Din al-Zanki Movement, and Jaish al-Mujahideen are reported to have united in northern Aleppo into a new military command called The Free North (al-Shamal al-Hurr).
    • This comes after Hazm, an FSA-affiliated group, was pushed out out Idlib by Jabhat al-Nusra.
    • Abu Baker, the General Commander of JaM, denied the merger and said that he had only heard about it from the media.
    • Today Jaish al-Mujahideen and Nur al-Din Zanki posted a video of them working together during a TOW attack around Bureij in Aleppo, which is posted further down.

  • ARA News reported that 560 doctors and nurses have been killed by the government since the beginning of the war in 2011, and that 155 medical centers have been bombed.

  • Turkey announced that it has agreed to host the training of 2,000 rebels, which will be among the 5,000 that the US has announced that it plans to train.

    The Islamic Front is in Daraa? Interesting development if true. Which group of IF?

    • It looks like Jaysh al-Islam, but I have no idea where in Daraa the camp is.
