    • The FSA’s Western Qalamoun Gathering said the the Lebanese Armed Forces are not their enemy, unlike Hezbollah, and that he must be released to prevent a collapse of the security situation along the border with Syria.

  • Phillip Hammond, the British Foreign Secretary, met with Hadi al-Bahra, the President of the Syrian National Coalition, in London. Bahra is there meeting with representatives of the 11 countries that back the SNC.
    • After the meeting, Hammond said that Britain will make “a significant contribution” to the training and equipping of “moderate” rebels to fight both Assad and the Islamic State.
    • “We are providing non-lethal equipment and the UK expects to make a significant contribution to the US-led Train and Equip program.”
      • He also said that “Assad can play no future role in Syria”.
    • In an interview, Bahra said that the US-led coalition “is fighting the symptom of the problem, which is ISIS, without addressing the main cause, which is the regime,” and that “People feel there is a hidden agenda and cooperation between the coalition and Assad’s forces because Assad assumes he has a free hand.”
      • He also said that the coalition ignores the FSA, which could provide the “boots on the ground” that President Obama has acknowledged is needed.

  • The UN reported that it is having to cut the number of people in Syria and Iraq that it will be able to help this winter due to a $58 million shortfall in funding. It said up to 1 million people may not receive aid for the winter.

    Hey. It is amost imposible to see your page anymore, because it is SO SLOW. It takes ages for loading it and forget about watching the videos…. I recomend you to each day in a diferent part of the page or something, but not all in one single page. I don’t know, try using page 1,2,3,4 for instance, but at this ratio, people will stop reading it.
