    • Coalition airstrikes targeted the IS in villages to the west,  south and east of the city. They also hit an IS convoy, which included armored vehicles, which was coming from Manbij to reinforce the IS around the city.
    • The YPG advanced in fighting in the south and east of the city.
    • The FSA, with support from Peshmerga forces and the YPG, advanced to the west of the city.
