  • The government offensive on Jobar, which is adjacent to Damascus, has entered its 3rd day. At least 11 airstrikes were carried out.

  • A woman and 4 men were arrested by the Islamic State in the al-Hamidiyyi neighborhood of Deir Ez Zor on charges of prostitution.

  • 2 civilians and 3 Islamic State fighters were killed by airstrikes on Mohasan in Deir Ez Zor.

  • 2 men were executed  by the Islamic State in the Deir Ez Zor town of al-Quria on charges of smoking in public.

  • 17 people were wounded, including 6 rebels, by airstrikes on the villages of BreqaRwehnia, and Om Batina.
    • A demonstration in Breqa was held in opposition to Jabhat al-Nusra, demanding that they leave.

  • Jabhat al-Nusra Kornet missile hit on a tank in Halfaya in Hama

  • A chemical barrel bomb was dropped on Kafr Zita in Hama. The barrel bomb contained metal and plastic containers, some of which contained liquids and some of which contained powders. The bomb did not have explosives in it, just the chemicals. They are currently trying to figure out what the chemicals are.

    • JaN said that although the UN has done nothing for 3 years, it now wants to intervene to sabotage the Jihad. It also said that the purpose of the international resolutions is to keep Muslims subjected and humiliated. They stated that although all they want to do is help their brothers in Syria, they are on terrorism and sanctions lists from the UN.
    • They also said they are safe, in good health, and receiving medical attention.

  • The UN managed to rescue 32 Peacekeepers who were trapped by Jabhat al-Nusra on the Syrian side of the border crossing in Quneitra.
    • Another 40 are still trapped and were reported to be under mortar and machine gun fire.

  • An Islamic State tweet claimed that they are forcing pilots captured from the Tabqa Airbase in ar-Raqqa to train fighters to fly captured jets.

  • The Tunisian coast guard collected the bodies of 41 mostly Syrian migrants who drowned as they were trying to sail to Europe.
    • The Italian navy has rescue more than 93,000 migrants, many of whom were Syrian, this year.
