- 3 civilians were killed in al-Myadin, Deir Ez Zor province, when a car exploded near an Islamic State HQ. It was not certain whether a gas truck blew up by mistake or if it was a car bomb.
- 17 civilians in Aleppo province were detained when the IS raided the Kurdish village of Jarja, in the al-Bab area. 1 man in al-Bab was executed by the IS, who charged him of belonging to al-Sawhat.
- The rapid response team formed in Aleppo yesterday consists of 600 men. Jabhat al-Nusra has apparently joined forces with several US-backed groups in the force, including the Hazm Movement, the SRF, Division 13, and Division 101.
- Barrel bombs dropped on Aleppo targeted the al-Daqaq and Dar al-Shifa hospitals, the only two still in operation in the eastern neighborhoods of the city. 4 people were killed by a barrel bomb that was dropped on the al-Sha’ar neighborhood.
- 3 rebels were killed by government airstrikes on the al-Taraf checkpoint in Idlib province that was captured in the recent push to take the al-Hamidiya army base. 7 airstrikes were also carried out on the perimeter of the base.
- Rebels are continuing to advance in Idlib, losing 6 fighters in the process of taking over the al-Duhman checkpoint, which they then blew up to prevent the government from retaking it. 4 government fighters died. Only the Hanajack checkpoint is left before the base.
- A Division 101 TOW missile destroys a tank in Idlib:
- Infantry and tank assaults on the checkpoints. 1:20 to 1:40 is an interesting shot:
- 14 civilians, including 7 women, were executed by Islamic fighters in the town of Khattab in Hama province on charges of dealing with government forces.
- 4 civilians were killed by government shelling on the village of al-Hweja in Hama.
- The Syrian government said that aid has not been able to reach the besieged Yarmouk Refugee camp because of “Zionist support to the Takfiri movement.”
- The camp, which lies within Damascus, has been under government siege for a year. 120 people have starved to death, and no aid has been allowed in since May.
- Jaysh al-Islam, Ajnad al-Sham, and other rebel groups killed 50 IS fighters, including 4 IS emirs in Misraba, Eastern Ghouta.
- A pilot was hit by aa fire from Jabhat al-Nusra in the suburbs of Damascus and was forced to make an emergency landing in Damascus.
- Government airstrikes in al-Raqqa were conducted against the al-Tala’e camp, which is an IS training HQ, killing at least 20 fighters. Airstrikes were also carried out against al-Fekhekha, killing at least 2 civilians, and Ma’dan.
- 18 YPG fighters have died in al-Raqqa in the last 24 hours, 4 from the IS car bomb in Ein Essa, and 12 in Abdoki in the east countryside of Kobani. 8 of the dead in Abdoki did not have gunshots or penetration wounds, and appeared to have somehow burned to death. The IS lost 22 fighters in the clashes around Kobani and southwest of Tal Abyad. Rebels and the YPG are working together in the fighting around Kobani in order to prevent a full scale IS assault on Aleppo.
- Jabhat al-Akrad killed 35 IS fighters and destroyed 2 tanks west of Kobani.

- An audit of the Syrian chemical weapon stockpile revealed that dimethyl phosphate, trimethyl phosphate, and hexamine, which are all key components of Sarin gas, were sold to Syria by Britain in the mid 1980s. Additionally, electric fans which were thought to only have commercial use were sold to Syria in 2003 by Britain, the same year Iraq was invaded for chemical weapons , and then used in the Sarin manufacturing process. Stricter rules apply now than they did in the 80s about the sale of the chemical components.
- Rebels have resumed their offensive in Quneitra province in southwest Syria. Rebels currently hold most of the territory between the Golan Heights and Daraa. The current offensive’s goal is to defeat the last government holdouts.
- Rebels took the villages of al-Majdulia and A’in al-Darb.
- 8 rebels were killed fighting the 4th division in the perimeter of the Nab al-Sakher area.
- A TOW fired by Division 13 destroys a T-62 in Idlib:
- Opinion Research Business, a British polling group, found that only 4% of Syrians believe that the IS represents their interests. Around 33% thought that Assad’s government best represented their interests. Deir Ez Zor and Quneitra were not able to be covered in the survey.
A blind Dutch IS fighter making the point that his blindness wasn’t enough to stop him coming to Syria, so what’s your excuse?
good job
