Change of plans, I get my wisdom teeth out on Monday

 

 

  • The ISIL has signed an agreement with Jahbat al-Nusra and the Islamic battalions after mediation with town elders and the Abdullah iben Al Zobary battalions in Ksham, which is in Deir Ez Zor. The agreement says that the town is neutral and that both groups will leave. The Abdullah iben Al Zobary battalions will set up checkpoints and protect the town.

  • The local council of Deir Ez Zor city has declared villages of Kasham, Al Sor, and Al Bsira to be disaster areas as a result of the fighting.

  • Jahbat al-Nusra and the Islamic battalions captured the town of al-Hreja from the ISIL in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zor.

  • Water has been cut off to the al-Hajar al-Aswad neighborhood in Damascus by government forces for 8 days.

  • Water has been cut off for 3 days in Aleppo after rebels damaged the electricity network that supplies the water pump station when they detonated a tunnel in the al-Midan neighborhood.
      • Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers were able to pump water to the neighborhoods of al-Martini, al-Miridian, al-Mohafaza, al-Kawakbi, Saif al-Dawla, and al-Entaj Souq

  • Fighting between rebels and government forces occured around the perimeter of the A’zzan mountain in southern Reef Aleppo as government forces attempted to break through to the Jahbat al-Nusra controlled Khan Touman warehouses.

  • European interior affairs ministers are considering the possibility of censoring jihadist websites and creating a task force to counter jihadi propaganda trying to get Europeans to go fight in Syria.
